Nicole Nelson joined us over the summer and we are excited to have her on board. For those of you that haven’t met her yet, here is her bio!
Nicole has worked passionately in sales for over 20 years. At Boehringer Ingelheim Nicole was a Specialist Representative calling on Respirologists and Urologists. She transitioned over to Medical Device sales with Stryker. In the hospitals, she provided sales and support in and out of the OR to surgeons, OR managers, Fellows, Purchasing, Sterile Processing Staff, Nurses and Clinical Coordinators. Nicole arranged inservices and cadaver labs for training purposes for fellows, Surgeons, Nurses and SPD. Her experience covers General Medicine, Cardiology, Respirology, Urology, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Oral Surgery and ENT Surgery.
Her acknowledgements include being awarded CMF Highest Achievers award with Stryker for having highest sales in Canada and exceeding sales goals. In her Pharmaceutical career, she won “Rookie of the Year” and was Recognized for the “W5 Awards”. On Management’s request, she presented seminars on Best Business Practices to colleagues at regional meetings and was the winner of a national team award for the highest sales growth in Canada. Nicole arranged a Nationwide speaker tour for a Key Opinion Leader in the area of Respirology to bring value to her clients here in British Columbia.
Nicole sits on the Board of the Ocean Park Community Association. She has propelled community projects through working in partnership with the Mayor of Surrey and the City of Surrey Staff to further development of local parks, community projects, Safety Strategies and events. She piloted a group which eventually merged into the Community Association called Ocean Park Neighbors and founded the “Ocean Park Beautification Committee.”
